I was very disgusted and uncomfortable since I was the only female there. I dont wanna be that person but it wasnt a side comment it was something out loud across the room.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
