- DWDenny WagamanJul 23, 20263.0The most common complaint i hear from others while standing in line is not having enough checkers. This morning 1 checker. 7 people with mostly full baskets waiting. Someone in front of me asked who he said was the manager we need another checker and she said you only get one. I saw The previous manager (a guy) would open up a lane and start checking just so customers woukd not have to wait. I asked the checker how many hours will you work this week. 19 was his reply. Other checkers have told me they would work as many hours that they could. Apparently safeway is force its customers to check our own groceries out. I do that when i don't have a lot to check out. The people in the deli, pharmacy, the florists, meat counter and others that work there are very nice. The other issue since i am complaining is Safeway’s online coupons. Sometimes i don’t bother sometimes i do. Just recently several safeway workers now are asking can i help you find something and or how are you doing today? That’s what Rosaur’s (sp?) have been doing for a long time. Nice to see Safeway doing it now too. Really, the biggest issues is not having enough checkers particularly when the store is busy. .

- DSDavid SurrattMay 7, 20261.0My local store on Plaza Way is great, but the website stinks! It keeps changing my preferred store from the Plaza Way location (my preference) to the Rose St. location. I've called their "contact us" number twice now to fix this, and to combine four different accounts they say I have. Each time I'm told it was fixed, but nothing ever changes. They don't appear to be able to solve the problems that I'm having with their website. Now I've discovered that my most recent order for delivery was filled at the Rose St location, not my preferred location at Plaza Way.
- CTChad ThayerMay 1, 20261.0Cashier Sydney was very rude didn't say one word besides giving me a dirty look when I left some heavier items in the cart for her to scan with her wireless barcode reader. I try to do this to make it easier on both of us. Where did the two part greeting go and why is she so mad at being there. It's called fake it till you make it or if your unhappy with your story start a new chapter. I won't becoming back to this location.
