OMH the manager at this location is ridiculous. I usually don’t shop at the ghetto Safeway but today we were in that area and needed a Cpl things. I always use Safeways clipped coupons or buy the M.P. Items and never pay full prices. Now you know if you do also that you should keep your receipt and check it ASAP to make sure you got all the items at the sale price. Nothing is perfect and sometimes the $ doesn’t get deducted. Today it was was the Safeway select bread $2.74 variety kinds/ meaning you can choose from different flavors. Reg$4.79 so —$2.05 it took off .50 for U savings but not the $1.55 I figured ok no big deal, it happens, I go back in to have it put back onto my debit cards. I wait about 3 min and then who I assume was the manager. ‘Man wearing dress shirt and pants look very professional… HOWEVER he did NOT behave professionally. He put me through the third degree over $1.50 trying to prove that I wasn’t right or that my bread was not included in the sale l, taking to the bread poking out there was no tag on the bread. Except that I had the digital coupon on my phone showing the sale price and that it’s good until 8/4… tomorrow!!! He tried arguing over that as well. I finally got so angry at this man making me feel like I’m some kind of dirt bag for wanting the sale that THEY ADVERTISED!!!! It’s not like it’s a lot of money but it is the point that it has happened several times and I’m good at catching it. So I go to the Wilbur st location, go in tell them where I bought it. Didn’t get it for the sale price. NO ISSUES…. The manager is a tall guy, young man to me lol he’s super nice, always kind. I show him the receipt and the clipped coupon on my phone and another manager I believe Jamie was just walking up he told her what’s going on and she did the refund back onto my card. No problems whatsoever. Also I would like to say that the manager at the Rose st stop has no idea anything about their own coupons or how they work. It was like he was trying to get me to train him on their coupons. If your the manager then maybe you should learn what’s what at your own store.
If there is ever an issue at the Wilbur st store I just ask anyone up front and they will correct it or show me why I didn’t get the sale. I try to make sure I’m picking out the correct clip or member priced items but If I mistakenly choose the wrong item they show me why…. Which helps me to be better prepared next time.
So maybe the next time you should honor your own stores coupon and Learn how to do it on your own time and not try to get the customer to give you a coupon lesson on your store coupons.

Got way over charged for 100 chicken nuggets that should have been 20$ considering it's listen on the deli screen as 25 for $5 dollars not 33$ for 100. Not coming here again for anything deli
