Okay food, but wouldn’t come back.
For starters, the coffee was horrendous. I’m not a coffee snob, but this might have legitimately been the worst coffee I’ve ever had, and happens to cost more than drip coffee straight from Starbucks. Very watered down and clearly about 3 steps down in quality below Folgers original.
The omelette my wife and i got was good, decently meaty and had a very thin, light egg layer on the outside. Not our preferred style, but well made. The homemade sourdough was good and fresh, and the pancake I substituted in was very good and clearly homemade.
Substitution policies were not friendly, so hopefully you like the way things come. I attempted to sub a single pancake for my hashbrowns, and what i was met with on the bill was a hefty $3.50 upgrade from toast (one single pancake), plus a $1.75 side of toast to replace the toast that I wasn’t substituting in the first place.
Our primary server was kind and prompt, but one of the other servers that refilled our coffees made quite a mess of coffee all over the table, and when he noticed my wife was looking at all the coffee he spilled on the table, (and said nothing, despite him spilling coffee all over her sunglasses on the table) he was very rude, and confronted her with a very condescending “Are we good!?” Which made both of us very uncomfortable. He also made sure to stare both of us down on the way out, despite our one and only interaction being his refilling of our coffees, which of course we moved to a convenient location and thanked him for at the time.
Not an experience i would recommend to anyone.
