Grabbed about a half dozen and a coffee for around $14 only to get home and get told it’s national donut day by family. Could’ve gotten two dozen for that price and no one mentioned it to me. Never going through a physical location again, if I grab Krispy Kreme again I’ll stick to the little bin at Walmart. Didn’t want to post this but they also didn’t give me a receipt or answer my phone call. Happy donut day I guess
- AJAndrew JordonMay 19, 20264.0I hadn't been to Krispy Kreme in ages, probably twenty years and the experience was the same as it ever was from my high-school days, which is to say really good. I'm not going to say Krispy Kreme has the best donuts, because there are many great donut shops, but they do have their own distinct style of donuts that generally are pretty great. I specifically went to get their limited edition orange dreamsicle donuts which were amazing and reminded me a lot of the Little Debbie Orange Cupcakes from my childhood. Overall it was a solid experience, fun watching the conveyor belt with workers frosting donuts. Counter service employees were helpful, outgoing and tried to keep the line moving as fast as they could. I was a bit bummed out that they ran out of the banana cream pie donuts, but that was my bad as I arrived around 11am. The only knock on the atmosphere and service was some of the tables were unkempt and had a bit of messiness on them and the staffing seemed a bit light so they didn't really have anyone cleaning up, as I was getting my donuts to go it didn't really affect me. Price point is a bit higher then I liked on their donuts these days, but I guess it comes with the times.
