- KKKassandra K6 days ago1.0I ordered online and that was easy. My bag was ready soon as I walked in the door - perfect. I didn't leave a tip while ordering online. Why would I tip in advance of receiving anything? Welcome to 2026. We don't do that and you should be ashamed of yourselves for asking for a tip before you've done any amount of service. The food ordered was two cheeseburgers and a large fry. The buns were stale, like they had been out all day in the open air. Yes, the order was made around 8:30pm, but is that your norm? To serve stale buns when you're still open til 11pm? The fries were made with what could only be last month's oil. They were dark, stale, flavorless. Is this because I didn't tip for an online order? Or is this just the status quo of Five Guys today? I want my $25.12 back. Not a single bite was worth it.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
