The food was wonderful. I requested a mild level of spice and it was perfect for me. Friendly wait person and pleasant atmosphere. I had some left to take home and it re-heated beautifully. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Great Lunch spot in Vancouver with a lot of options! Chicken Saag was amazing, and sizzler plate came with a lot of food.

The kadai paneer was quite flat and flavors were muddled. Tandoori Roti was quite average. In addition, I was charged a mandatory tip on a pickup order. I don't mind tipping but a mandatory tip is quite deceiving. Overall, the quality did not reflect the price of the meal.

We visited for the first time and, while everyone was very cordial and welcoming, unfortunately the food was quite disappointing. The biryani was bland overall but had an overpowering amount of chilli, with some old/undercooked capsicum and chicken that didn’t taste fresh. The usual egg and brinjal curry were also not served. Unfortunately, all of us experienced stomach discomfort that evening. We’re sharing this feedback with good intentions, hoping the food quality can be improved for future guests. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. —Update after owner response— We are conveying our experience on Chutneys Indian Restaurant at the correct address. Yes, we were not served brinjal and egg with biriyani but the biriyani was mixed with very old undercooked capsicum and older chicken.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We started with the fish pakora, which seemed old and lacked flavor, although the accompanying sauces were fine. We then ordered the chicken tikka kebab. It looked delicious when it arrived sizzling, but it was extremely dry. After eating just two small pieces, my jaw actually hurt from chewing, so I left the rest on the plate. I also felt slightly nauseous afterward. This restaurant used to have amazing food, so it was especially disappointing to see how much the quality has declined.
