4 stars for Stanley & Seafort’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The salmon was cooked beautifully — flaky, flavorful, and paired really well with the black rice and carrots. You can tell care went into the presentation too. Dessert was definitely the highlight for me though; the crème brûlée had that perfect crack on top and a rich, creamy texture that hit the spot.
The atmosphere and views make it feel like a classic date-night or celebration spot. Overall, a really solid experience. Not quite perfect for me, but still absolutely worth checking out.

Stanley & Seafort's is a great restaurant in Tacoma. We go every holiday to celebrate birthdays and Christmas. It has an excellent atmosphere, especially at nighttime. The food was great, especially the salmon, scallops, and prime rib. The crumble was excellent dessert. The staffs were very friendly, and the whole dining experience was wonderful. Everybody should go there at least once.

Been to this restaurant quite a few times over the years. Love the location (view) and the ambiance. The food has declined over the past few years, just not very much flavor in anything. From prime rib to the steak to the chicken the latest feedback around our table was consistent on the lack of flavor rating. Still a restaurant worth going to. But if you are interested in a good tastey steak at high end prices, this may not be the menu item here for you. A lot to pay for the quality. Excellent service, very friendly place. So i rated high on service and atmosphere.

My sisters and I came here for a B'day celebration. We've never been here and was looking forward to the evening. We arrived exactly at the opening, 3p, and we were immediately seated. The table was small for 4 people and the hostess was kind enough to accommodate a change to a table that seated six. Thank you! Amanda was our server and she did an outstanding job for us while we were there. Thanks, Amanda! Now down to the nitty-gritty. We all ordered something different, not on purpose, just because we followed the desire of our belly 😊. Focaccia bread was warm and tasty. Calamari was tasteles, small and chewy. I couldn't get enough salt on them to add flavor. Bummer. Left most of it on the plate. The fry on them was good, but I wasn't paying for crispy batter only. Thumbs down. Blue cheese salad was good. Oysters on the half shells were surprisingly small and not worth the cost. The prime rib, med. rare, was sooo fatty, don't get me wrong, I want some fat on my prime cuts, flavor abides there, but this portion had so much fat, I actually thought it was some sort of added topping. The meat was tough, not tender. The green beans that were on the plate were bland, as if they barely blanched them and placed them on the plate without a lick of seasoning. Not even olive oil. Water and heat. No thanks, I'll pass. They too were left on the plate. The trio platter, which consisted of salmon, scallops and shrimp was just OK. The 2 scallops on the plate were the diameter of a dime (disappointing), the salmon was delicious, shrimp, nothing to write home about. Two orders of scallops as the main course were again disappointing, these were not 4 or 5 stars restaurant quality. Small. Bigger than the ones on the trio platter, but smaller than ones I've had at El Gaucho and other 4 or 5 stars restaurants. Two of my sisters had mashed potatoes as sides and they both raved about them. Thumbs up. I ordered the crab and shrimp fettuccine. It was delicious...after I salted it up. Key lime pie was delicious. Carrot cake was a glorified spice cake. Too much nutmeg. It definitely was not a carrot cake. No bueno. My conclusion, S&S did not live up to its reputation for me and my sisters. The majority of our food from appetizers to main course was tasteless, bland and infer. Somethings you can not recover with salt at the end. And for a restaurant that boasts seafood, they could a did better job on the portions and size of their seafood.
