  This place has gone WAY downhill. It’s open till 7:30. We got there at 6:40 to order take out. Immediately when we walked in both of the young girls taking orders/making shakes looked at the time, then at each other and rolled their eyes before rudely telling my fiancé to back away from the bar. After making our shakes the girl handed them to me before shaking her head while I was grabbing my straws? Not worth causing a scene over stupid stuff like this, but I’ve been coming here for a long time and it’s sad to see this little gem turned into something so depressing. After we got our food the burgers weren’t even wrapped up😂 just thrown loosely into the wrapping paper and into the brown bag like a child wrapping Christmas presents. So, thinking they possibly spit on our food we threw them out without eating any of it and went to Frisko Freeze. Prices have skyrocketed everywhere but this place has gotten bad. The service has been bad every time I’ve gone recently but this was the worst.

  I ordered the double and fries. While there was nothing fancy about it, it is the closest thing that has come to an in/out burger that I have missed since moving here from California. I tried other restaurants and burger joints but this is the closest that I can think of in the Tacoma area. It also has a solid 80's nostalgic feel.

  Quick service, food was satisfactory, but it doesnt stand out to all the other burger joints in town. Umami sauce was midiocre.

  We ordered two burgers, one onion ring and a shake, we were pretty disappointed overall. The burgers were very average and the patties weren’t anything special either. The biggest letdown was the onion rings. The onion rings were $8.99 for just five pieces, The shake was the only thing we really enjoyed. If we were to come back, it would probably just be for the shake.
