- JSjerry stultzJun 1, 20261.0Been a neighborhood resident and frequent this specific Safeway for the last 7 years and I've never had an issue until today. I find in particular the manager that has a ponytail and a beard to be incompetent, because he's not able to exchange legal tender for groceries which is the primary function as a store manager. I presented 100 printed in 1985 and he turned it away even though they accept cash there. I said fine, broke it got gas and came back 5 minutes later and told him that I found someone capable of exchanging my legal tender and he warned me if I said another remark like that he would ask me to leave. That's what's wrong with this generation they're too much in their feelings can't just handle business as this young man clearly demonstrated. Pitiful how he felt he had to get the last word and walk away like a coward. Yeah there is no Contact Us just quick links to social media and a virtual assistant. Nice effort y'all make just made a full-time Shopper at Stadium Thriftway from here on out. If you're truly making effort you'd provide a link to an email address or a phone number yourself not make me work for it. Lack of customer service is appalling, I serve my community at the local College working in financial services and this is not how you conduct business if you're truly trying to work on retention as a proprietor.
