  I call this Dirty 8 Safeway it's absolutely foul when parking you can smell Human urine and feces coming from the bushes. You walk into the store and see trash, the floor is slop mopped and one male cashier didnt wear his name tag nor did he know how to load an Orca card! He told us standing in line that the Service Counter is closed til 1030 well, it's 1033 as Nicole comes walking in laughing it off. The gal in front of me said, this is normal. The only cashiers at the self check out that had a positive attitude and work ethics were Ruthie and the black older lady. Try to do better Dirty 8 Safeway 🤣

  Had a great experience with Alyssa from bakery dept. Had a unusual cake request and very very last minute change of plans and she KNOCKED it out of the park! She was great to communicate with and a pure artist based on my cake results. Best red velvet wedding cake I've ever had. Thank you again Alyssa you saved the day!

  I’ve always gotten great customer service at this location, but today Ruthie really went above and beyond. Great service like hers is a rarity these days, and it’s exactly why I keep coming back. Thanks so much, Ruthie!

  The cashier Angela was juts a joy!!! She was super happy and informative, after dealing with rude cashier's like rene I was almost never coming here again but she single handled changed my mind. And she like this every single time. I will wait in her long line before going anywhere else. She makes the whole shopping experience better an I have heard other customers speak highly of her awell. I live right up the street an everyone in the neighborhood juts loves her. She everyones favorite cashier!!!

  Unfortunately this is my local Safeway so going somewhere else will be really difficult otherwise I would (I live about a block away) this store has been on the decline from the alcohol jail to kicking ice cream freezers. Then today I had a chance encounter with the manager and it pissed me off on multiple levels. First off get this store in order, there shouldn’t be only self checkout open EVER. Second a customer a line over asked for him and when he explained why the manager said “you called me over just for this?”!? I wanted to turn around and say no you were called over because a customer asked for you so the employee called you….cuz it’s your job. Then he came to my line because the soda sale price wasn’t working (as usual) and he said no we can’t just correct it, he then proceeded to double check the phone number I used and it’s connection to the account. Then he said it was because they were mixed matched. I go through this all the time and they were 4 coke products all with the same sale tag. Also the Pepsi products are the same sale tag so how are customers supposed to tell the difference? Fine talk to me like I’m the idiot that did it wrong and didn’t compare BAR CODES like he suggested. I’ll just take the Pepsi ginger ale version even though o know it fits the deal even less. I used to work in the service desk so I understand when every customer takes you away from your tasks it makes them the enemy. Well you’re the store manager so you have to keep that in check more than any other employee. Oh yea amd his name tag said “person in charge” instead of store manager. Guess he wanted an option that was the most condescending.
