They do have a gas station nextdoor though so that's convenient as a lot of Safeway stores don't have gas.
- GGGiJul 24, 20261.0I feel sorry for our community. Many residents, especially those in underserved neighborhoods, rely on this Safeway because it's the closest grocery store available. Especially since Fred Meyer's closed. One of my biggest concerns is that after about 8:00 p.m.—when many people are getting off work and the store is busiest—there are often if not always, no staffed checkout lanes open. Customers are expected to use self-checkout, which can be difficult or impossible for some seniors and people with disabilities. There should always be staff available to assist customers and provide accessible checkout options. The quality of the produce is also disappointing. Much of it is close to spoiling, yet prices remain high. Our community deserves access to fresh, affordable groceries just like any other neighborhood. I wish we had more grocery store options, because right now many residents have little choice but to shop here. I hope Safeway and community leaders take these concerns seriously and invest in providing better service, better-quality food, and a better shopping experience for the people who depend on this store. Treat people the way you wanna be treated.Not because the way you think we ought to be treated because of the neighborhood we live in. Please step up safeway, and the community leaders
