  Takes 30 minutes to get your food, it is prepared extremely poorly, there's no backing out once you get on the drive through.

  After we used the app to order because there's no one at the counter we wait 10 minutes at a table to get bothered by the private security about if we've ordered since we're 'loitering'. We show him and he states that they watch the lobby via the cameras and tell him who to check in with. It's been twenty minutes and still nothing with door dash drivers and drive through getting served before us. Pretty pathetic service.

  This is the worst McDonald's in the Tacoma area. I work 4 10's and like to get McDonald's on my last workday of the week. Like it's McDonald's I'm not expecting a 4 star meal but the food is ALWAYS cold something is ALWAYS forgotten and the staff couldn't care less. Don't bother doordashing from here either that's an absolute disaster. Even worse than in person.

  Fish burger was tiny. I felt like a giant holding the tiny thing. And McDonald's is none for it's hot salty fries. And my fries were warm but no salt. I walked in and told the manager. I wanted salty fries like there usually. He tried handling me salt packets. Then I got upset and told him. He needs to get me some seasoned fries. I got them but wasn't worth all the trouble. It's crazy how this companies. That have figured out. How to get every person in the country. To go eat at there place. Treat the costumers like they don't need us. I mean the size of the burgers is ridiculous. They figured out how to save money. Buy shrinking our food.

  This is my first official review of this location. After living in Tacoma for 7 years, I’ve been here many times—and unfortunately, every experience has been either mediocre or outright poor. At a minimum, they consistently forget basic items, regardless of the time of day or night. There are also clear staffing issues during peak hours and especially late at night. Either they’re understaffed, or management is doing a poor job scheduling. There’s no point in advertising as 24 hours if the store ends up closing or can’t operate properly overnight—at that point, just close at midnight. On multiple occasions, my orders have been incorrect or missing items entirely. I’ve submitted complaints directly to the store before and have never received a response. As someone who works in food service management, I understand the challenges—but this location consistently falls below even basic expectations. At this point, I won’t be returning. If you’re in the area, you’re better off going to another location. The one on 38th is far more consistent and reliable.
