  Good food selection, decent service, and wonderful atmosphere. It is a difficult place to find parking. But, this is a great summer time spot try out! Burgers, Beer, and tots. Yum!

  What an awesome spot. Great food, came out quick. Servers were nice and check in regularly. Will have to come back and check out the out door seating, looked popular with nice weather.

  Very bad experience today, they told me to seat outside , a guy that was walking by cleaning table and helping people, but never got back to us in 30 minutes waiting, I almost felt like in this place there might be some sort of racist going on , anyhow I went back inside to turn the menu and told the girls the reason why we were leaving and the didn’t even care that we were not help at all, I think the owner should take this feedback into consideration, or a least put a sign that saids not Hispanic welcome or something, this was an awful experience

  If I could leave zero starts I would leave zero stars. I went in with my hubby as a date night and we went in to get our menus and were told to sit anywhere so we asked about sitting outside and the host said yes so we proceed to sit outside. We sat out there for 15 minutes no one came to ask if we wanted something to drink, no greeting, nothing! And there was a man walking back in forth out there and we were literally the only ones sitting out there. Made me even feel like it was because of our race being the only latinos there. She mentioned the back being closed and there were people arriving and sitting directly back there…. What a true bummer and awful experience.

  I was visiting Tacoma from out of town before a concert and was excited to try Dusty's Hideaway. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and our waitress was friendly at first. Unfortunately, things changed when we received the check. We were charged $19 for drinks that should have totaled $11, and we were also charged $4 for dipping sauce that came with the meal and was never ordered as an extra. While the receipt was corrected, the waitress seemed irritated that I brought the mistakes to her attention. She returned with the corrected bill, tossed the clipboard onto the table, walked away, and never apologized. To make matters worse, my meal came about 20 minutes after everyone else's. The rest of my group was nearly finished eating before my food finally arrived. A simple apology or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. The payment process was the final frustration. The QR code payment repeatedly gave me an error, so I had to pay at the counter instead. The next day, I discovered that my bank account had three pending charges from the failed attempts, which I now have to deal with getting reversed. I understand that mistakes happen, but this experience involved billing errors, a long delay in receiving my meal, poor customer service when the errors were corrected, and now multiple charges on my debit card. It's disappointing because the food itself was very good, but the service and payment experience left a negative impression.
