First time at the South Tacoma Way location and everything was perfect like always at Buddy's. The food, the staff, the music all on point.

I always love Buddy’s chicken! I ordered the cheddar bay biscuit waffle and chicken plus 2 extra tenders (4 total) I Picked up from the STW location and it was ready on time and delicious as always. The only thing I can complain about is one hot honey sauce is not enough for 4 tenders! It was kind of spendy but worth it.

Pleasantly surprised by how tender and flavorful the chicken was. I got the cornbread waffle with it.... so good! Glad I had to get my car fixed in the area or I would have missed it.

Had an awesome lunch at Buddy's Chicken & Waffles on SWT this Saturday afternoon! The space is absolutely adorable, welcoming, and has such a great vibe. As a bonus, Buddy himself was there, and we got to chat and chop it up with him for a bit, which made the experience even more memorable. For lunch, I had the chicken and fries paired with the Strawberry Shortcake waffle, plus a strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy, and the Strawberry Shortcake waffle was the perfect sweet treat. The strawberry lemonade tied it all together and was incredibly refreshing. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people. It's always nice supporting a local spot where you can feel the passion behind the business. If you're looking for a fantastic brunch or lunch spot in Tacoma, Buddy's Chicken & Waffles on SWT is definitely worth checking out! SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS!!! Highly recommend! 🙌🍗🧇🍓🥤

First time trying Buddy’s and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t say I’m much of a chicken and waffles person but I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was not only juicy, it was flavorful too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty bite and who wants to support a Tacoma local business at the same time.
