I go here regularly but the last time I went I had a older cashier lady kinda tracked me since I got in the store and watched me as I went to the check-out line. Guessing she didn't have much to do. I paid and I guess I forgot to pay for two plastic bags which was .14 after I paid 21 dollars for two items there. The cashier stopped her active transaction with someone else to tell me I had to pay for the bags and said it out loud in front of anyone who was around. She was rude and abrasive about it. Was unnecessary. Don't worry I'll leave a couple dollars on your customer service counter that should cover me for the year lol

Boy that trip was less than satisfactory,
Customer service is definitely lacking in the meat department.
Ask if they had any more product in the back, she told me flat out no and moved on for the next customer.
Took about 15 minutes to even get somebody back in the meat department and that was even after A Manager got somebody.
I know it’s just a grocery store but experience matters

It is unfortunate that I am writing this review because I have been a loyal customer at this location for more than eight years. Approximately 60 percent of my shopping is through Drive Up and Go, and the remaining 40 percent is in store. Throughout those years, I have consistently had pleasant experiences, and many employees even know me by my first name. Until tonight, I had never experienced a single issue.
I came into the store with my daughter to purchase a case of water and a few other items. Although I normally use self checkout for small purchases, I chose a cashier because I did not want to lift the heavy case of water. I went to checkout lane 6, where the young man assisting me was friendly, professional, and helpful. We even joked about him having to lift the water, and he explained that he could simply scan the barcode from a reference sheet instead.
As I was handing the cashier my payment, an employee named Savanna left the self checkout area, where she had been assisting another customer, and walked over to our register. She asked the cashier whether he had scanned my case of water. She only came to make sure he scanned the water because she had no other reason. I only had 3 other small items to be scanned and the cashier had bagged them himself. I politely responded to her question concerning the water "Yes, he scanned it." She immediately replied with an attitude, "I was asking him."
I responded by saying, "Okay, but there is no need to be rude."
At that point, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Savanna raised her voice and began explaining that she was just doing her job. She then stated that she had never seen me in the store before, despite the fact that I have been shopping there for years and am recognized by many employees. All this while she had a customer waiting for her help. She was literally in the middle of helpinh him when she decided to leave him to come inquire about my already scanned water. She continued raising her voice and said, "At your big age, you need to just be quiet and keep walking. Get out of our store."
I was stunned. I calmly responded that I shop there regularly and that her behavior was rude and unprofessional. Meanwhile, the customer she had been assisting at self checkout was still waiting because he needed her assistance to complete his transaction.
Her behavior became loud enough to draw attention from other employees and customers. Several employees came over because of the disturbance, and they appeared surprised, especially because they recognized me as a regular customer. In more than eight years of shopping at this location, I have never had a confrontation with any employee, either in the store or through Drive Up and Go.
Also, I want to be very clear. The issue was never about being asked whether the water had been scanned. I completely understand employees verifying purchases. Its their job and especially if the cashier is new etc.. The problem was definitely way I was spoken to by this lady. There is no circumstance where it is ever acceptable for an employee to insult a customer, raise their voice, or tell them, "At your big age, you need to just be quiet and keep walking. Get out of our store," particularly after it was confirmed that the item had, in fact, been scanned correctly. She did all of the above and was very comfortable in her behavior.
Savanna's conduct was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. It reflected poorly on the store and created an uncomfortable scene that could have been avoided with basic courtesy and professionalism. You can definitely tell that this lady was not worried about facing any consequences or disciplinary action against her.
I will be speaking with store management in person because I believe this incident deserves to be addressed. I sincerely hope no other customer is treated this way. After more than eight years of being a loyal customer, I never expected an experience like this, and I am deeply disappointed. I am just so stunned at this entire situation. Her behavior was so disheartening.
