- CCcarlMay 5, 20261.0my experience was as usual abysmal digital stupid coupons only reason i go there is wife gets a monthly 45 dollars for food due to disability which is usable there but here is the thing we all know that some stores are cheap on some things and others the same but today cinco de mayo there cheapest ground beef was 10.49 a pound lol i hate that store so went to yokes paid cash instead and paid 4.49 a pound for leaner than safeways did not need a digital coupon an app or any of that crap today we finally decided that when she wants to use her humana 45 dollars we will go to winco which is are main store anyways i only wrote this long diatribe because it had to be done every time i leave safeway i feel robbed i wish they fix there crap but i am not holding my breath. good luck safeway shoppers
