- ADAubrie Dean4 days ago2.0The gentleman working on the 4th or 5th check out today was unbelievable rude. I was taken back by how he spoke. After I was checked out he was nice to the lady behind me. I'm not sure what I did to possibly make him upset within out 2 minute interaction but it was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had at a safeway.

It will never happen again as I will be shopping at an another store. I have been a customer here since long before the store moved to its present location but never again.

I struggle with severe panic when I have to go to the grocery store, and I had the most INCREDIBLE experience this morning at this Safeway location. I went to the Starbucks Kiosk with a time consuming order, and the baristas, Rachel and Sarah were my absolute god send. They were personable, kind, and beyond accommodating. They made it feel like the safest space in Spokane. Corporate, If you ever see this review, those women deserve a huge raise like, YESTERDAY. In addition, While I was there, I heard 4 cashier employees happily greet customers BY NAME, and about 11 customers greet multiple employees BY NAME as well. Whatever you are doing, please know that you make a difference to the Spokane community. I will only go to this Safeway for a long time after my experience today. 🤌🏼💜🤙🏼👏
