This basket had been ordered for me for my first Father's Day by a relative who lives out of state. When they sent me the listing that they thought they were sending a compared to what arrived they were very disappointed. Personally, I think it is amusing that so little effort was put into what arrived at my door. They didn't even bother taking the stickers off of the apples and orange they threw into the basket. Honestly, this borders on false advertising. I will never recommend this to anyone.

My issue (and I'm sure it's not only mine but this entire neighborhood's) is the amount of people loitering. It is absolutely insane and baffles me that nothing has been done about this. Pretty much daily, there are groups of transient people standing by the entrance or blocking the walkway. They are openly using drugs, leaving litter behind and overall, creating a very uncomfortable environment for residents/families to even approach the Safeway or walk near it. I can not believe Safeway doesn't have a security guard at this location. I can not believe no staff members go out there to tell people to move along. They just post up there all day and all night! It is absolutely unacceptable. I'm sure this isn't the first time this issue has been brought up but I'm hoping, with enough voices speaking up about it, something will be done. Whether that means a security guard gets hired for this location in particular or Spokane PD could get a squad car posted here daily (just like they do at Walmart), something must happen to fix this ongoing issue.
