  I was shouted at this Safeway by two employees as I put an item into my SHOPPING BAG! I would have used a hand basket for the same purpose except they havent had any in years and I sure am not going to push a cart around or try to lug around my milk and various things for what is essentially one bags worth of items. I understand that the loss prevention must be outrageous here, meanwhile you have a parking lot that is always full of nefarious people and activities. 50% of the time, im accosted by someone wanting money or a cigarette in the parking lot, or I have to choose wisely where I park to try to avoid parking next to someone doing addict activities. Make changes so that I can stop calling it Un-Safeway or atleast get some hand baskets so that your overly invested and under qualified staff wont accuse me of stealing when I just want to buy some over priced staples. Or hell, hire a LP team to monitor and handle theft instead of your floor employees embarrassing the hell out of regular customers.

  Store is generally decent on item selections availability, but has some serious concerns overall: 1. Not enough staff manning registers and you often have to check out your own grocery filled cart yourself in the 15 Items or less self checkout lanes, even if you have a 100 items while people get pissed waiting. 2. The produce is tragic: The fruit especially is being sold to the public with fully visible patches of mold on oranges, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Veggies are often limp/wilted and have to avoid. 3. They push milk cartons to the front that will expire within less than a week and still selling them at non-discounted prices as if they are fresh. 4. Last trip I made there, I was unable to buy any of the meats I wanted because they were all near expired date and had visibly brown edges around the meat… no longer even red. Gross! These guys need to step it up with quality control and stop selling moldy and expired foods to the public. I have abandoned going to this store for my main needs now as the quality cannot be trusted anymore.

  I was in Washington state and was pricing things there I am from northern New York But they have many reasonable prices

  Went to deli right before close. Didn't expect the food to be great. The food was crusty and disgusting and they still charged full price even with not having everything that went with the dinner deal.
