My grandsons have a routine of eating there when they accompany their mother to her ob/gyn appointments. They love cracking peanuts while waiting and if they finish their lunch, they get shakes to go. I was impressed with the portions, number of toppings to choose from, and the fact that they use peanut oil and only fry fries makes for amazing tasting French fries. I have gone to the north Spokane location several times since and have never been disappointted.

When she asked again after paying the person at the counter finally went and asked only to tell her no all they have is American so they just won't put cheese on it. Ordered the burger with bbq, it tasted like ketchup or they made it with ketchup instead. So she got overcharged for a burger that wasn't what I wanted. So bad food bad service just bad.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
