May 18th 2026 was our 30 years anniversary. We have been coming to Clinkerdaggers for 30 years on this day to remind us of our very first date we have always been treated exceptionally well. The food has never disappointed and the staff is amazing. We usually have Tina as our waitress and this year it was Erin with a goodbye hello from Tina which made my wife very happy. This was probably our last time to visit Clinkerdaggers as my wife suffers from moderate Alzheimers . We just want to thank this establishment and the entire staff for your hospitality. Great job.

This was definitely a let down. Service was incredibly slow, the food was bland. Salt would not come out of the salt Shaker. Diet coke was out of syrup, which server recognized and said, I thought that looked funny when I poured it. And you still served it? Was really excited to try this place, heard amazing things. Anthonys was much better and has a much better view. All that said, the kind of old historic feel to the building and the old carpet and everything was really cool. Trust me, I wanted to love this place.

Clinkerdagger has for many years been one of my all time favorite restaurants. My friends and I used to go regularly, sometimes almost monthly. I always felt like their food was delicious, their cocktails were amazing, and the service made it feel worth spending the money there. That being said, the past 6 months to a year every single time I’ve gone it has been honestly disappointing, especially for how expensive it is now. It feels like a very mid experience at a very high cost and it genuinely sucks to say because I used to love this place. My go to order is the crab artichoke dip, crab & shrimp fettuccini, and a berry botanical mule. The crab artichoke dip this time barely even tasted like artichoke. It was still okay, but definitely not what it used to be. Also every single time I’ve gone recently, my food has come out lukewarm or cold. The crab & shrimp fettuccini used to be one of my favorite dishes anywhere because it was super creamy, flavorful, and actually felt worth the price. Now every time I get it the sauce is watery, the pasta is weirdly tough, it tastes under seasoned, and somehow it’s always cold. It honestly feels like a completely different recipe. Today was especially disappointing because I brought my mom and grandma after talking about how good Clinkerdagger was for years. My mom ordered a prime rib medium rare and it came out cold and red throughout almost the entire piece of meat, with only the outer edges looking slightly cooked. It honestly seemed closer to rare. It did have flavor, but again, cold. Even the drinks don’t taste the same anymore. I ordered my usual berry botanical mule and it mostly just tasted like ginger beer with something random added to it. I used to love their cocktails because they actually tasted balanced and good. This one was just very mid. Service can always be hit or miss anywhere, but Clinkerdagger used to stand out to me because the servers were always professional and attentive. Recently it just feels like nobody really cares. Drinks weren’t refilled, service was very slow, and we waited around 30 minutes just to get the check, then waited again forever for it to actually be run. One thing that also honestly grossed me out was seeing a staff member go into the bathroom wearing their work apron and come back out still wearing it. Maybe some people don’t care, but personally that’s not something I want to see at a restaurant charging these prices. The saddest part is I used to not even mind spending $100-$200 here because the experience actually felt worth it. Now I leave feeling like I could’ve gone to the mall food court and had a better experience for a fraction of the price. I don’t know if management changed, recipes changed, or standards just dropped over time, but something is definitely different and not in a good way. It really sucks watching one of your favorite restaurants slowly lose the quality that made people love it in the first place. I’ll honestly miss what Clinkerdagger used to be, because the place I ate at today did not feel like the Clinkerdagger I loved for years. I have it three stars and that honestly feels generous.

We had reservations but we're early and we had a little wait but seared BEFORE our reservation time. We had a drink in the bar while we waited, the bartender was friendly and pretty busy, the drinks were good but Prom night so got to see quite a few different "drinks" going out. Fun night! We had clam chowder and French onion soup for appetizers. Would recommend both! The French onion soup was delicious, onions golden and sweet, lots of bread and melted cheese. I really could have been done right there but of course we ordered Grilled sirloin and fish & chips. Both were delicious! Fish was crispy and and so tasty! Not greasy like they can sometimes be. My husband liked the fries too- crispy and seasoned well. The sirloin was so tender! The mashed potatoes were delicious, they had garlic and butter, great flavor! We got dessert to go because we could not finish our dinner! But the Key Lime Pie and NY cheesecake were top notch!

Clinkerdagger stands out as a captivating landmark restaurant in Spokane, Washington, celebrated for its enchanting "Olde English" atmosphere and stunning views of the Spokane River and falls. Designed to evoke a 1600s English retreat, the restaurant impresses with its beautiful wrought-iron chandeliers, noble shields, and an eclectic collection of antiques carefully shipped from around the world. The wood-paneled walls feature a charming "wavy" texture, a charming mark of decades of wheat-grain polishing. One highlight is the Broadway Pea Salad, often described as "out of this world." Its fresh, vibrant flavors have pleased guests for years. The Char-Grilled Sirloin is another favorite—served with creamy Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and crisp grilled asparagus, it offers a hearty, flavor-packed experience. While renowned for its quality, some diners have noted it can occasionally be overcooked. Finally, the Key Lime Pie, made from scratch daily with Nellie and Joe's Famous Key Lime juice, is a Spokane staple. Its authentic tartness combined with a buttery graham cracker crust makes for a tangy, irresistible dessert—many consider it the best in town.
