- MCMarissa ConteAug 30, 20261.0It seems pretty standard to replace a pan with a fresh one when you run out of an ingredient, so I was surprised to see them refilling the old/dirty pans from a larger container in the back. The queso was basically empty and instead of being replaced or refilled, it had apparently been sitting there long enough to get hard and noticeably darker in color. It looked old and unappetizing and I don’t understand why it wasn’t replaced with a fresh pan. I also had to ask for several ingredients to be freshly refilled because I didn’t want the bottom-of-the-barrel portions. For example, the steak pan had maybe six pieces of steak left. I asked if they had a fresh batch because I didn’t want the old, hard steak sitting at the bottom, and the employee told me they didn’t have any and that it would take about 15 minutes to cook more. I then asked if they had any on the to-go line, and magically they did. The same thing happened with the salsa. There was corn that had fallen into it from the other ingredients and I had to ask for a fresh pan rather than taking what was sitting at the bottom. I just don’t understand why customers have to specifically ask for fresh ingredients when there are clearly fresh batches available. I’m paying for a meal and expect the ingredients to be fresh, properly maintained, and served in a reasonable portion without having to repeatedly ask for it.

They were generous with the portions, and I didn’t have to ask. Thị’s staff doesn’t even know me. If you go hungry here, it’s your own fault people give chipotle a bad rep on social media for skimpy portions, but you need to dine in and tell them exactly how you like it and how much. I’ve never had a problem with that. I love the new drinks. I suggest the berry aqua fresca. Thank you Chipotle, you have won my loyalty again. Shout out to Jade and Josie for preparing my meal and making things right at check out.
