I went with a vegan friend. I have a mild soy allergy so I was expecting for my selection to be limited, but they had nothing. I am fine with small amounts but can't have soy milk, or soy protein based meat substitutes. They told me I could have "a bowl of fruit". Soy is one of the most common allergie, so it is unfortunate that they are not more inclusive. Avoid if you have a soy allergy.

Vegan Mac n cheese was delicious but definitely had to ask for extra salt 🧂 Some items are not too pricey but a lot of the dishes are quite expensive so keep that in mind.

Erstwhile vegan restaurant that "gave up" on their entire vegan brand soon after a corporate takeover while retaining the zombified branding of the once-vegan, once-family-owned Wayward marque. DON'T BE FOOLED. The prices are bad, the food is worse, and there's a huge cross contamination risk in a kitchen too small to safely separate meat from plant based items

It’s pretty BS that all these “vegans” are upset when they still have one of the best vegan menus in the city. Everything is still as delicious as always. Sad that these people are only reviewing to tare down the restaurant because they don’t care about people’s livelihoods. These owners are people too who need to pay their bills. Don’t like it? Then don’t eat here. Stop making false 1 star reviews because you’re mad it isn’t 100% vegan. None of these “vegans” are ethical in today’s society anyway. I have never eaten meat and I never will, but I wouldn’t try to get a place shut down because they serve meat now. It’s pathetic. Thank you Wayward for keeping an amazing menu full of delicious vegan option. My family and I will continue to support your efforts and hopefully we can prove all these false reviews are just from a disgruntled and unhappy people.

This used to be my favorite vegan establishment, but wayward was sold, and the new management that has been running the place have decided to add animal to the menu. This goes against the ethical and moral principles of their vegan clients that have supported them for decades. I simply cannot recommend this place to any of my friends.
