  Unfortunately it does not do Seattle salmon justice. Sad to find out most of its served salmon is frozen (from the grill side). Even their fries are frozen then reheated/refried. Their grilled salmon is nearly $40, while only being a 9.6oz portion is a let down. Their salmon for their fish and chips is frozen and not fresh. Overall major letdown. I would save your money and skip.

  Wanted some fresh fish and found this place. We got the king salmon which was a bit pricey but delicious! The fish was so juicy and buttery. The fries were also tasty! Definitely itched the fresh fish craving while visiting this city. Very casual setting where you order at the front and seat yourself. They’ll bring the food to you.

  Horrible service. The staff at the counter rushed us through our order without explaining the menu or giving us a chance to ask questions. We ordered some soda, but they never explained that we were supposed to get it ourselves from the beverage fridge, so we ended up waiting 20 minutes for our drinks. Then, 10 minutes before closing time, they simply turned off all the lights without any notice. They didn’t even say goodbye or thank us for coming. The whole experience felt very unwelcoming and rushed. Definitely not going back.

  I have been going here for a long while now and would highly recommend stopping by. They have both regular good food and some good take home fish and crab cakes. The staff has always been great, if you are unsure, come try something like the fish tacos or fish and chips and then if you like it I recommend coming back to grab something to make at home. As I understand they get the fish locally and responsibly. One of the best local spots in my opinion as someone who really likes fish.

  My only disappointment is that it took me years of living in west Seattle before I came here for the first time. Delicious seafood and chips, perfectly fried, and very reasonably priced. I could easily see any other restaurant in the area serving the same dishes for $10 more and nobody would blink an eye at them. My wife and I split a 2 piece cod and chips and I got the oysters and chips (8 large oysters and a healthy portion of fries with ketchup and tartar for $12). She also got the fish tacos and loved them.
