  I prefer curbside. I've been here twice. Gave them the once off when the 1st order took 30 minutes, maybe there was a glitch. Second time makes for a never again. They didn't even start picking the flash order until after the pickup time. After I checked in, I waited 10 minutes and called the service line to see why they hadn't come out yet. After 20 minutes and 3 unanswered phone calls, I went inside. The guy had me show him my app to make sure I knew where I was. Told me he would be "just a min" to get 1 of his guys on it. About 15 minutes later, his guy rolls out with my groceries. I told him there was a cold bag for the perishables. When I get home, all the groceries are just thrown in together, not 1 in the cold bag. Never using this safeway again.

  I recently had to file a formal health code complaint regarding this Safeway. I witnessed a customer bring large, uncontrolled dogs into the store that couldn’t have been service animals. They were walking directly up to the open produce displays, and one dog was actively sniffing and getting extremely close to the raw, uncovered produce meant for public consumption. I brought this to a staff member attention immediately. While they said they would take care of it, there was zero sense of urgency, and they failed to intervene fast enough to address the situation. This is also a recurring issue at this location—I frequently see pets in the food aisles, sometimes completely unleashed and It is a major sanitation risk. You guys at Safeway need to consider that health codes are in place for a reason and you must uphold the regulations you are responsible for. No one should have to get sick trying to buy food from a store that should be safe.

  Rude staff and poor selection. If you like locked shelves and a three step process to checkout then this is the place for you.

  Doubt a review will do any good but it’s 6pm on a Saturday with zero check out lines open except for in the separate alcohol section and zero managers on the floor or employees at guest services. We had over $200 dollars of groceries and didn’t want to use self checkout. We were sorely tempted to just leave it all to prove a point. QFC certainly has its problems but there are ALWAYS cashiers staffed and plenty of them. Shout out to 💫Janice 💫 for rushing in to save the day and getting us checked out quickly. She’s the only reason I’m giving one extra star. However this experience will make me consider going elsewhere. Hire more cashiers!!
