Stopped by for some groceries while on a business trip. The store was clean and everything seemed fresh. Our cashier was Merlo. He was very nice and professional. Thanks Merlo!

This Safeway lost me because of the bizarre decision to take away baskets.. I don't want to push a cart around the store for the few items I want to grab..
This was my go to grocery store.. I will gladly drive the extra distance to Fred Meyers where I can use a hand basket.
Also you'll be waiting in line forever as they never have enough people upfront checking people out.
The basket thing though... Y'all already make it hard enough to shop with things behind lock and key, do you have to make the experience that much worse by taking away out baskets as some collective punishment for stupid shoplifters..
Anyway, it's worth the extra drive Kroger/Fred Meyers instead of this Safeway

I was just at this location at 9:30 PM on June 27. The only checkout lanes open were self-checkout. This is unacceptable and is inherently discriminatory in multiple ways. This policy needs to change immediately.

I was a long time Bartell's customer, but switched to the Safeway pharmacy in SeaTac after Rite Aid purchased the beloved local chain a few years ago. While I was hesitant at first, I'm glad I made the change! Not only are they up the street from my house, but the entire pharmacy staff is incredible.
I am always greeted with genuine smiles, everyone remembers my name AND birthdate (I'm up there a lot but this is still amazing), and they are very sweet with my chatty, curious 6 year old who often comes with me when picking up my medication.
I've also been impressed with the speed in which my prescriptions are prepared and the diligence the staff has shown when, on the rare occasion, they've been out of or are low on a particular prescription; they've called other locations on my behalf or given me what's on hand and filled the rest when it came in, instead of making me wait for the entire prescription.
The pharmacy is often busy and sometimes the line can be a little long, but the staff handle the volume of customers with tremendous patience and care and it is clear that everyone is working diligently without sacrificing great customer service.
I don't write reviews very often, but this team of pharmacists and the work they do help keep me alive, and for that, I am forever grateful.
