Shopping is difficult because half the items are locked. Common denominator is you have to wait way too long for an employee. Just hire more people and then you won't need shitty systems that make customers' AND employees' lives miserable!

It was great when I moved here, totally serviceable, pretty clean, all the usual stuff I’d expect from a Safeway. These days it’s just kind of disappointing every single time. Low stock on items frequently, the deli counter is serving gross burnt or undercooked food, the staff at the registers seem unhappy to have to check anyone out, the ones at the self checkout seem overwhelmed constantly, and then now we get hassled for a receipt on the way out while sketchy folks _still_ just wander in and do whatever they want. Go the extra distance to a different store.

I was shopping here the other day and noticed a man following me, when I asked the security guard to step outside and see if the man I described was still outside he didn't seem to care and said no. Mind you I never asked him to confront the man, I just asked the security guard to use his eyes and legs to see if it was safe for me to leave the store. But no, I guess walking and using eyes was too much. The Starbucks lady saw this and checked outside for me since he coldly refused to help me, if you are shopping in here please be sure to tip the Starbucks lady. It was not her job at all to ensure a disabled woman shopper was safe but she did it anyway. Overall this location is okay as long as your not a woman or child shopping alone.
