- CRCookie RAug 20, 20261.0I’ve had an ongoing issue with an employee who works around the self-checkout area in the evenings. He is tall, wears a hat, and repeatedly stares at me every time I come into the store and use self-checkout. This has happened consistently and it is unprofessional and unnecessary especially given I have been a frequent and loyal customer. I hope management will address this, because customers should be able to shop without feeling constantly watched by an employee.

And honestly why do you spend the money on AP and security if you can't continue to run a store correctly and stocked. I can promise, I will never waste my time again. Upper Queen Anne doesn't complain, they just do their job. And to be Frank, the Othello store runs better in a far, far worse area. So seems to me that this site has a manager who really doesn't do their job right, plain and simple. Don't blame the community, blame the manager.

I asked to use the restroom because it was an urgent situation, and the staff refused without showing any empathy or offering any alternative. Treating customers with such a lack of basic human decency is incredibly disappointing. A grocery store should value respect and compassion, not make people feel embarrassed or ignored. I won’t be returning, and I hope management seriously addresses how customers are treated. If there was zero star in google review, I would go for it.
