We visited Hello India Restaurant today around 8 PM, and from the moment we walked through the door, we had such a great experience. There were only a couple of other guests when we arrived, so the restaurant was nice and peaceful. The first thing we noticed was the warm smile and welcoming attitude when we walked in. It immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome.
The restaurant itself is very clean, nicely decorated, and has a really beautiful atmosphere. You can tell that they have put thought into creating a space that feels comfortable and inviting. There are only a few parking spots directly in front of the restaurant, but we were able to find parking without any trouble.
The menu has a great variety of North Indian dishes, and honestly, there were so many things we wanted to try. I had really been wanting to try the Amritsari Kulcha Chole, and I am so glad we did. I would honestly give it 100/10! It was absolutely delicious. The spices were perfectly balanced, the chili had just the right amount of heat, and the kulcha was soft, flavorful, and generously stuffed. Everything was presented beautifully as well.
Our host, Ravu, was incredibly helpful and made some excellent recommendations. Based on her suggestions, we tried the Korma Lamb Curry and Chicken Curry with chili bullet naan, along with a side of onion and chili salad. Everything came out surprisingly quickly, and the food was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.
The lamb curry was especially delicious. The lamb was cooked so well that it was tender and flavorful in every bite. You could really taste the spices and freshness of the ingredients. It came with rice as well, which made it a very satisfying meal. The chicken curry was also full of flavor and had the perfect level of spice for us.
We also ordered the papdi chaat, which was probably the one dish that was just okay for us. It wasn’t bad at all, but compared to everything else we ordered, it didn’t stand out as much. Everything else, however, was absolutely fantastic.
I personally cook a lot and consider myself a pretty good cook, so I pay close attention to the quality and freshness of food. From what we experienced tonight, the ingredients tasted fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. The flavors didn’t taste overly heavy or artificial, and you could really appreciate the individual spices in the dishes.
Another thing that really stood out was the hospitality. Ravu was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. She checked on us multiple times throughout our meal, made recommendations based on what we liked, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were having a good experience. That kind of service makes a huge difference.
The prices are also very reasonable, especially compared with some of the other Indian restaurants in the area. In my opinion, the quality of the food we had tonight was better than many of the Indian restaurants we’ve tried around the area, while still being reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend Hello India to anyone who enjoys North Indian food, and especially to people looking for a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There is something for everyone on the menu.
It feels like a newer restaurant, and I sincerely hope they continue maintaining this same level of food quality, cleanliness, service, and hospitality because they are doing something really special. We had such a positive experience tonight, and I honestly cannot wait to come back and try more items from the menu.
Thank you, Hello India, for a wonderful dinner and such great hospitality. We will definitely be back!
