Don’t be discouraged by the neighborhood! This place is legit. I’ve only ever seen pani puri online so I was really excited to try it here. I was so happy to learn it was as delicious as depicted online. We ordered a bunch of dishes and every one was just as good as the next. I highly recommend this place.
Hello India was a wonderful surprise. The food was simply fantastic. We ordered the Shahi Lamb Korma, Saag Paneer, Lamb Biryani, and Naan, and every dish was packed with rich flavor, wonderful aromatics, and perfectly balanced spices. It ranks among the best Indian food I've had in Seattle.
The restaurant itself is simple, modern, and spotless, creating a comfortable atmosphere that lets the food shine. Equally memorable was the hospitality. The husband and wife owners were warm, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their guests.
It's always exciting to discover a restaurant that gets both the food and the experience right, and Hello India has done exactly that. We'll definitely be back.

5-Star Review for Hello India Seattle on Aurora
I recently visited Hello India on Aurora Ave N and had one of the most satisfying Indian meals I’ve had in Seattle in a while. This spot is a hidden gem for authentic flavors without any pretentiousness—just solid, home-style cooking in a casual setting.
The methi matter paneer was hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted. The perfect balance of earthy fenugreek, sweet peas, and creamy paneer in a rich, spiced gravy had me going back for seconds. It was flavorful, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. Paired with their masala chai, which was bold, perfectly spiced, and so comforting—it felt like a warm hug in a cup. I could drink that stuff all day.
The chaat was fresh and full of great textures—crispy, tangy, and addictive. My only minor note is that the Amritsari kulcha could use a bit of improvement (maybe a touch more seasoning or flakiness), but everything else more than made up for it.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making for a good chat while we waited for our food. Service was quick, and the portions were generous. If you’re craving real Indian comfort food in the Northgate area, definitely stop by Hello India. I’ll be back soon—highly recommend the methi matter paneer and chai combo!

Good service, music, the place even smells great, a smokey, perfumey aroma. Got curry specialty extra hot, and butter chicken, and appetizer tandoori chicken. Good heat great depth of flavor. Tandoori presentation was careful and attentive. Onion had a little something extra on there, delicious. Serving size is good to fill, but no leftovers.

Our family ordered the Chana masala, malai kofta, and saag paneer. Best Chana masala I’ve had, all dishes were perfect. Onion kulcha was super soft and fresh.
This is now our go to for Indian food in North Seattle. Better than the other local option (I am surprised too!).
Sweet family that owns this place. Don’t let the Aurora location keep you from checking it out. Give it a try.
