Goldfinch Bar at Four Seasons Seattle--sad excuse for a Four Seasons. Views are poor, yes you see Elliot Bay, but much obscured by smokestack, storage building and other rooftops. Cocktails were average at best, despite upcharge for premium liquor. Two vodka martinis just shy of $60. Look elsewhere

We had dinner here for our wedding anniversary and unfortunately left very disappointed.
The meal itself had several issues. My pasta was undercooked, while my partner’s pasta was slightly overcooked. The dining room was also uncomfortably warm, which made the experience less enjoyable.
There were small gnats flying around during the meal, and one of them ended up on the dessert. I’m attaching a photo showing the bug on the anniversary medallion that was added to our dessert.
What was especially frustrating is that my partner made the reservation and clearly mentioned that she is dairy-free. Despite that, the restaurant added an anniversary medallion to the dessert that contained milk. For someone with a dietary restriction, this was a serious oversight and made us question how carefully those details were handled.
Finally, a 20% service charge was automatically added to the bill, but we were not made aware of this on the menu or when making the reservation. Given the food, the bugs, the temperature of the room, and the dietary issue, this felt especially disappointing.
We were hoping for a special anniversary dinner, but the experience fell far short of what we expected.

The food was solid overall, but the experience was let down by inconsistent service. Our server disappeared for long stretches, often 10–15 minutes at a time, and we had to flag down other staff just to get basic help.
There were also a few notable issues. One member of our group, who is vegetarian, was mistakenly served pasta with meat. The restaurant did correct the dish, but it’s a surprising oversight for a restaurant at this level. On top of that, the wine list felt limited in practice, as they were out of both our first and second bottle selections.
To round it out, there’s an automatic 20% service charge, which felt misaligned with the level of service we received. Overall, decent food, but the service and execution leave room for improvement.

We had an exquisite dining experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service truly stood out. Our server, Johnny, was incredibly humble and kind, he made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of! Our other server Mesh was excellent too! Thank you all!

Visited the restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle today. Our server Sarah was kind and attentive, but it was clear she had no power to actually fix issues.
We ordered drinks, wings, burgers, and fries. The wings were overly salty, the fries were extremely salty, and the burgers were sloppy compared to our first visit. Last time the burgers had a nice charcoal flavor and felt properly cooked. This time they felt rushed and messy.
After spending $170+ we decided to mention it to the manager. Unfortunately the response was disappointing. Alex, the manager, simply said he would “let the kitchen know.” No effort to address the situation, no curiosity, no service recovery. It felt like I was filing a report instead of giving feedback as a customer.
For a place charging Four Seasons prices, you expect Four Seasons hospitality. Sarah did what she could, but management completely missed the moment.
Between the food inconsistency, the weak response from management, and the odd layout of the space, I won’t be returning. Overpriced and poorly handled.
