  Our second Fish and Chips tasting in Seattle. Little mom and pop shop. We got there late so the place was pretty empty. There are picnic benches but more like a grab n go kind of place. We wanted to try their fish and chips but they happen to serve Seafood gumbo on some days. I am a sucker for gumbo but most of the places outside of NOLA had let me down big time. So I hesitated. I decided to asked for a spoon of gumbo to sample before I order a cup. The young man at the counter started scooping a cup, yes, a real cup so I figured he heard me wrong. When I asked how much, he replied, free for you. Really?! Awesome!!! Now my husband and son’s turn, ok, they ordered like there’s no tomorrow and below is how I ranked them. Seafood Gumbo - OMG, other than a little saltier for my taste, it is on point. As good as it can get. Highly recommended. Clam chowder- not bad but gumbo was way better. Fried chicken- was alright. Crab puppies - yummy Fried calamari- tough and chewy Fishes - soggy way too dried Salmon - very light battered which were great but fish were dried. Way over fried. Shrimps - over fried and dried Clam strips - too dried Chips - all were soggy even though we asked for extra crispy. Slaw - crisp and tasty. I rather eat this than the soggy fries/chips. I would definitely return for the seafood gumbo and crab puppies.

  We never received the order. When driver got there he was told our good had already been picked up and there was nothing the restaurant could do. We ordered from a different restaurant and received our food 2 hours from the time we placed the first order.

  My wife and I stopped in for the first time, and the Alaskan cod blew us away! It was incredibly fresh, moist, and seasoned to perfection. The fries and coleslaw were spot-on, and the clam chowder is an absolute must-try. Hands down one of the best fish and chips spots around—we’ll definitely be back!

  They were very friendly, the food was fast, and the seasoning was great especially in the sauce… but that was some of the driest fish I’d ever had definitely too long in the fryer, I wanted to like this place after seeing the reviews and even more so after walking in and the staff being so friendly…
