  First time visit, but certainly will not be the last. Ambiance, along with an incredible view, is subperb. The family had just come off an Alaskan Cruise. While in Juneau, AK, we went to a crab house Red bldg) right off the pier. The absolute WORST crab I've eaten. Sam's Club had better frozen crabs than they do. So when we go back to Seattle, we decided to try Cutters. Sooo glad we did. Top Notch all the way around.

  Great food and excellent service at Cutters Crabhouse! We didn’t have a reservation, so we ended up seated at the bar. That’s the only reason for my 4/5 on atmosphere, and it was entirely on us for not planning ahead. The bartenders were terrific and made it a 5/5 experience overall. They took great care of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We’ll definitely be back, with reservations next time!

  The location is great. The service was great as well. I got the crap sampler platter. All 3 sets of crab legs were good. The butter they brought tasted odd to me but who eats crab with no butter? Lol the wife got a filet that was cooked perfectly with a nice crust and the Yukon gold mashed potatoes were delicious. The bar was nice but was lacking choices in rums. But that might be a Seattle thing as I noticed it was similar at most the places I went to this week.

  First, every experience aside from our server was really great!! Our server was named Jessica. She immediately had some attitude when we weren't ready to order drinks at the same time we got our waters. When we were ready to put in drink orders, we were ready to order food as well. She zoned out as my friend tried to order 3 separate times. Then asked "Anything else?" Yes...the food we just tried to order. The rest of the experience was stiff and weird. At one point she came to refill waters, and rather than asking me to pass my glass she just stood there silently, shrugging her shoulders. ??? Use your words?? Food was great, great view of the water, but I really wouldn't go back if there was a chance Jessica was my server.

  Our server, Chase, was unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the visit. Service throughout the meal was extremely slow, with long stretches where we were left waiting without much communication or follow-up. After we finished, it took roughly 35 minutes just to get our check. What really bothered me was that while I was outside smoking during that wait, I saw Chase outside smoking as well. I completely understand employees taking breaks, but seeing our server outside while we were still sitting there waiting for the bill was frustrating, especially after an already very drawn-out meal. I don’t expect a server to control how quickly the kitchen prepares food, but attentiveness, communication, checking on the table, and getting the check out in a reasonable amount of time are things they can control. Unfortunately, Chase’s service made an already slow experience significantly worse.
