While this place hardly needs another review, I'm here to yell at you if you live in Seattle and haven't been here for **THE BEST FRIED RICE EVERRRR** We found this place via HappyCow on our last visit to Seattle from Portland, and in asking my husband what he wanted for lunch in the weeks following, he joked about driving 3 hours for a bahn mi and fried rice so many times, we eventually had to go. Possibly the best bahn mi I've ever had in my life (spicy tofu ftw), and definitely the most unusual, veggie-filled, magically flavorful fried rice I've ever had. The roti with curry was also amazing, and the sweet bean pudding was the perfect dessert. So, if you're in Seattle, here's me yelling at you to GO EAT HERE YOU LUCKY SCHMUCK! [ Also worth noting, the folks are super duper lovely and kind, and combined with the social justice focuses, make for excellent vibes<3 ]

Buffet is fun, a lot of different dishes try. They have option to pay per lb if you don't feel like stuffing yourself lol Banana pudding is to die for! Prices are reasonable and the lady who runs it is so sweet, she's a community gem

The best bánh mì I’ve ever had. Every time I go, I order 2–3 sandwiches just so I can enjoy them over the next couple of days. I don’t live super close by (I wish I did just so I could have this all the time!), but whenever I’m in the area, I make a point to stop at either the Jackson Street or MLK locations. My go-to is the spicy tofu sandwich, though I like to mix it up sometimes with the barbecue or lemongrass chicken as well. (While I’m interested in trying their other options, I’m just such a sucker for their sandwiches 😆) The staff usually give you a free egg roll while you wait for your order, which is such a kind touch. Prices are also great, especially compared to so many other spots in Seattle. The atmosphere is humble and community-oriented. You can feel the warmth and mission of the place the second you walk through the door. The Jackson Street location is near a busy intersection with a visible unhoused community, which may feel unfamiliar or surprising to some visitors. After visiting ChuMinh several times and following them on Instagram, it’s clear the owner is a real pillar in the community — even providing free meals to people in need on Sundays. This place deserves all the support it can get. Incredible food, kind people, and one of my absolute favorite spots in the city.

Food was waiting for us to pick up at time requested. Everything was absolutely delicious. This is our go to deli when visiting Seattle. Never disappointed. What they can do with tofu is nothing short of amazing.

Just here to say. Cho Minh is an absolute GEM! I don’t know how they endure after all these years on this corner. I feel like it’s been especially absurd the last 6 years on this block. I remember to a better time in this city where I could bring a group of 8 friends here and we would have the most amazing vegan dinner feasts in their cozy dining area. The staff here has always been AMAZING! I’m happy to see they keep some indoor seating available for regulars and those with thick skin(being able to eat while watching people with rotting flesh shoot up/smoke up just over on the curb). This place is timeless and run by some real Seattlites. 10/10
