- MGM G2 days ago2.0I hadn’t been to Buca di Beppo in a couple of decades and was surprised to find myself at one on the Fourth of July. 🇺🇸 But it was close to SLU and the fireworks. We waited in line for 45 min. It was packed. Service was slow and forgetful. The restaurant was not clean (we watched as a server took a broom he used to clean the floor then use it to sweep the benches where people sat for dinner — GROSS!). And while we had a nice waiter, we watched as he provided more service to other tables and ignored us. Example, he brought a leftover bag to another table (also a couple) but when I asked for one, he told me to get my own on my out of the restaurant. We ordered one platter of meatballs and spaghetti which took 45 min. bc they ran out of meatballs. For 2 people, the dish ran $43! But they were huge meatballs which we were expecting. Food was meh. Not going back. Huge tourist trap as well. If you are a family of 4, it’s probably one of the more affordable family options in town with troughs of food for the non-discerning diner.

There was a bit of confusion upon checking and we were about to leave at 10 after nine because we weren’t greeted at our table. Upon leaving this status and apologies profusely and provided a free dessert, because that is all we came for, and they were so gracious and so nice. This really made our own anniversary night so special and memorable. Lami and Pricilla were so very nice and generous. We will never forget this night and we must be returning soon for lunch. This place is incredible inside and a must stop.!! We’ve just appreciated and loved it really made our night special. Thank you!!!!!!

From the original pickup time manager just kept telling me to wait feeling bad for it. He gave me some coupons which expired within 6 days of my visit Kind of like not really giving me anything. I didn't ask for anything, so I will give him that, but we're trying to make up for something.Do it something that's actually, gonna work longer than 6 days. The food was mediocre at best when I got home, which is weird cause, usually I think their food is really good cos somehow this time, the lasagna definitely missed the mark I got the forty $40 deal and it definitely was not as large of a portion as when I get it in restaurant and was about enough for 2 people not 3 to 4 as stated in the add or when I get it for sit down instead of take out hopefully this is a one time experience as I started usually I get great food and service here

The place has a fun, lively atmosphere with classic Italian décor that makes it feel perfect for celebrating with a group. The portions are huge, so sharing is definitely the way to go. We ordered the chicken parmesan, spaghetti with meatballs, and garlic bread, and everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfect for passing around the table. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure drinks stayed full throughout the meal. It's not a quiet, fancy Italian restaurant, but it's a great spot for birthdays, family gatherings, or any meal where you want good comfort food and plenty of leftovers. Definitely somewhere I'd come back with a group.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything came together perfectly for our special day. A huge thank you to our server, Priscilla, who was amazing from start to finish!! She was attentive, so warm and friendly, organized, and made sure our entire group was taken care of throughout the whole evening. She took photos for us and just was such a delight!! I also want the recognize Loni, who truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail helped make the day stress-free and memorable for us and our guests. I worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and these two ladies know how to run operations and also how to connect on the people side! That is what it’s all about! We are so grateful to the entire team for helping us celebrate such an important occasion. We highly recommend Buca di Beppo for any special event and we will be back to see Priscilla and Loni!!!
