  Was so yummy and quick despite a busy cafeteria. The woman who took me and my friends orders was incredibly sweet and lovely, such a breath of fresh air!

  I should have written this years ago when my friends and I were traveling. While touring Seattle, we stopped here for a few bites to eat and were blown away by how good the taiyaki here were. I swear if you ever expand out to the east coast (specifically recommending philly for this, as they're known for international food and don't have the high rent rates of NYC), I would be stopping by religiously - these taiyaki are that good. Traditional AND fusion filling options are what set this apart from the few places you can get taiyaki at out on the east coast (where the more traditional fillings of red bean paste, fruit, custard, or ice cream seem to be the main fillings you can get, rarely anything else). Be adventurous if you go here and enjoy! Beanfish has clearly taste-tested everything, as the flavors are on point! This place is a MUST GO if you like asian-based treats.
