When you stop by for a “snack” then come back for dinner, you know it’s good. April at “snack” time and Ally at dinner were both superior! Chef Lito came out to chat! Beyond the fabulous food, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendliness of the service oriented staff made both experiences amazing!
Overall, the experience was good, but I was disappointed in my meal - meatballs appetizer and green beans on the side for a smallish meal. The meatballs were cool and the sauce was tepid, while the green beans were too crunchy and quite oily for my taste. We did appreciate the complimentary dessert on the occasion of our anniversary.
Must have gone on an off day but the happy hour sucked! They were out of various juices so only 1 of the 4 cocktails on the HH menu were available. Had to remind the server to bring my friend her shot along with her beer, and the server definitely didn't seem to grasp the concept of a vodka soda with a splash of cranberry. Finally, the ricotta flatbread with stone fruit and arugula seemed to be a piece of pita bread, with ricotta, apples sliced the wrong way (keeping the rough, bitter core in tact) and absolutely covered in a pile of arugula- could barely see the flatbread for the pile of greens. To top it off, a single shot of Tito's was $14. Absolute rip off of bad food, worse drinks, and lazy service. Thank god the mandatory service charge was only 4%!
Second visit to this gem. The 2 Amys took good care of my son and I. Service was great, food was excellent and the atmosphere and ambiance set the mood. My son had the A&A burger. He asked for a sunny side up egg on it and was not disappointed with the request or the taste of the burger. I had the Cod. It was a tasty and lite meal. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience!
The seafood specialties on the main menu are definitely worth ordering. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, though it’s a bit noisier than I expected—likely because many of the diners are business travelers, with most dressed in business attire. Since it’s located inside the Sheraton Grand Hotel, it seems to attract a strong business crowd.
