Great Indian food! Best I've had in Seattle. I had the veg kholapuri. The gravy was rich and savory. The garlic naan was perfect for sopping is every last drop. With melt in your mouth vegetables. Service was very friendly and helpful and the ambience was classy and quiet for easy taking. I'll definitely be coming back on my next trip.. the two others with me agreed.

WOW!! WOW!! WOOOOOOW!!! 🤤 The second we walked into the restaurant we knew we were in the right place! The amazing warm smell of Indian spice filled the entire place! We ordered a few staple dishes 1. Samosas 2. Chicken tikka 3. Chicken Butter Masala 4. Dahl Bukhara 5. Veg. Byrani 6. Naan/Tandori From the first bite of the samosas we all immediately knew we had made a great choice! Everything we had was so unbelievably flavorful and had a great authentic taste to it. Portion sizes were great to share for 1-2 people (especially if you get a few different dishes). Only feedback is to be able to modify the level of spice as my group would have preferred a little more spice to some of our dishes. I’m sad we only got to eat here 1 time while in Seattle but next time I am back this will be a must visit spot!!

We were very excited to try this new place but it was a huge disappointment. The decor is fine, but nothing upscale or exquisite. The food was actually below average and service was terribly slow. Each time it large party of 12 people needed additional items, we would have to wait and look for waiters and the restaurant was not even full. Then the order would arrive very late too. The drinks were not fun either. Would not go again or recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Aamari. The food was freshly prepared, well seasoned, and arrived to the table warm. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the beautiful menu and charming wooden windows being slightly propped open to allow fresh air. Our server Kunal was courteous, accurate, and prompt. I will be returning to this restaurant.

Finally got a chance to visit this tiny gem of a place and it was an unplanned visit too! A perfect family restaurant. The restaurant’s name and menu truly justify the flavors and culture of Maharashtra, India. The food was absolutely delicious. The Vada Pav gave me a punch of nostalgia from Mumbai railway stations (though the pav/bread was a little on and off). The Saoji chicken rassa/curry had the exact flavors of freshly blended, house roasted spices that made every bite taste amazing, especially with naan or roti. The Malvani prawns curry was very well balanced in flavor and sourness, with a great texture. I love prawns when they’re not overcooked, and I got exactly what I was craving! Last but definitely not least the desserts. Wow, fantastic! I initially said no to desserts, but they gave me a sugar and food attack together! The creamy pistachio kulfi was rich with nutty flavors, and along with the Sitaphal (custard apple) basundi, I just couldn’t stop myself. Both desserts were beautifully infused with saffron ahhh, loved it! At first, before ordering, I felt the menu was a bit pricey, but trust me it’s absolutely worth it. The service staff was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I also liked how the kitchen staff took interest in checking our food preferences and likes/dislikes. It was also nice to see the restaurant owner personally checking on customers and making sure everyone had what they needed. And you’re extra lucky if you get to see the owner’s baby boy bringing smiles and fun to the dining experience! The wall portraits and decor pieces beautifully represent the restaurant’s regional theme and menu. Background playlist of Indian music from 80s-90s perfect cherry on the cake! The restrooms were also very clean and hygienic. One thing to note: please look for public parking before heading over. Would definitely love to visit again! Thank you, Team Aamrai ❤️
