  i would like to make note that Chris from the Drive up n Go service is absolutely the most fantastic employee I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. He always has a smile on his face along with a great attitude when we go pick up our groceries. He's just an all around great person

  I would give this store a 0 if I could. We have gone to this store 4 times in the past 4 weeks and every single time we went to buy something the store was out of stock. Im not exaggerating today we went on for coleslaw and the mayonnaise on digital coupon and they were out of both. I am so over this. I dont care if its the only store I won't waste my gas or time. The worse store ever. Very poorly managed. They are always out of things especially the sale items.

  I would like to recognize Eddie in the Deli Department at Safeway Fairwood in Renton for his outstanding customer service. Every time I visit, Eddie is friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a positive attitude. He goes above and beyond to assist customers, answer questions, and make sure everyone has a great experience. His kindness, patience, and dedication to excellent service truly stand out and make a big difference. Employees like Eddie are the reason customers enjoy shopping at this store. Thank you, Eddie, for your hard work, exceptional service, and for always making customers feel welcome and valued. Safeway is fortunate to have such a dedicated team member. Highly recommended!

  I am a regular customer. This morning I go to buy some food. There is not a checker or any self check out open. There was another customer who had a cart full of food. He couldn't check out either. I guess this is what happens when you let a checker take 3 to 4 weeks on vacation. Not a way to run a business. Plus when you ask another employee on who is checking and if they can do anything. They tell you they don't know who is supposed to be up front. Or have no over ride to get the self checkout that is supposed to be open. Because the light is blinking saying you need an assistance. If this keeps happening this store will lose customers.

  I am very disappointed with the customer service I received during my recent visit. The employee ( senior citizen grandmother with short hair like Dora the explorer) working the self-checkout area was discourteous and made what appeared to be smart remarks under her breath while I was shopping. As a customer who has shopped here for years, I found the behavior unprofessional and unacceptable. I have always enjoyed shopping at this store, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. Based on this interaction, I do not plan to return and will be contacting customer support to formally address my concerns. I hope management will take this matter seriously and ensure that employees represent the store with the professionalism and respect that customers deserve. The employee’s conduct reflected a lack of customer-service skills and professionalism that falls well below the standard I would expect from a long-established business.
