Interestingly, when I returned yesterday, the food items that were Eligible when scanned with the app had changed. This is very frustrating! $85 per month allowance on this card and I spend almost two hours each visit trying to find Eligible food on my limited diet. I have a genetic disorder that limits what I can eat. Most of what I can safely eat is not Eligible when scanned with the National Benefits card app in my phone. However, if I were to order from the home delivery options in the app, many Not Eligible food items in the store can be ordered from the Home Delivery Safeway's Service. Frustrating. Puzzling. Do they not want us shopping in the store? Must I pay the home delivery fees to est healthy food? The inconsistent options are very frustrating! Why is the list of meat Eligible one single package of uncured deli ham slices in the lunch meats section? Why no Fresh Meats? My insurance rep was shocked that the National Benefits card cannot be used to buy fresh meat, but I can buy Stauffer's spaghetti and meatballs, or cheesy baked potatoes. 🤔🤔🤔

- DDDMay 27, 20261.0Such a disappointing experience. Safeways greed is a constant reminder of the imminent collapse of our society. One singular employee was left to man the entirety of the checkout lines. That poor tortured soul had a line of 4 people waiting 45 minutes to checkout.
