  I had such a great time at Darren’s Bar for my 21st Birthday !! 🎂 Darren was so welcoming, he greeted all 12 of us by shaking our hands and asking ours names. All throughout the night he made sure everyone was having a good time and their drinks were full! He even let us have the aux, did shots with us, and sang happy birthday :) The 2000s vibe and decorations are so fun and honestly exactly what Renton was missing. Definitely will be coming back !!!   Darren’s is such a fun, intimate spot with a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Darren, was incredibly warm, gracious, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our group of 11 (millennial moms!) was celebrating several birthdays on a Friday evening, and despite having a larger party, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the night. The space itself is cozy and inviting, with that tucked-away speakeasy charm that makes the experience feel a little more unique and memorable. What really stood out, though, was Darren’s hospitality. He was attentive, personable, and incredibly accommodating—even when it came to the music. Our group was in the mood for some ’90s and 2000s throwbacks, and he happily catered to our requests, which made the evening feel even more personal and fun. It’s those little touches that really elevate an experience. There’s something special about supporting a locally owned establishment where the owner is personally invested in creating a great experience for his guests. We had a wonderful evening celebrating together and truly appreciated the hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend Darren’s for a date night, an evening with friends, or a special celebration.

  What a great place to relax! Watched the Hawks opener here. Felt like family right away. Good people! I almost carved AV into a chair! Hahaha

  Darren’s is a hidden gem. The owner himself made the whole night. He was so welcoming from the minute we walked in, letting us pick the music, clearing the pool table for us, and offering the whole bar a shot. It’s a small spot but genuinely communal. Rare to find a spot where the owner makes that much effort to make you feel welcome. Already planning my next visit.

  Look for the electric blue lights and there is the parking lot. There really is a DARREN and he makes killer drinks and is a personable bar owner. Pool table, darts and lots of singers pics to look at. Worth a visit to relax and have some sips in an intimate setting.
