I loved the crab fried rice the very first time I dined at this restaurant. It was ONE of the BEST crab fried rice dishes I have had in my lifetime. On my second visit, I ordered a to-go. The atmosphere was a relaxing, calm vibe. I enjoy myself every time I visit.

I always order the crab fried rice meal. It is the best I have had in the PDX. I traveled from Portland to eat it again. So good. It tastes so integrated and not separate ingredients. The service is not slow and the ambiance of the place is so intimate and romantic. No notes!

BAITONG is a place that I visit every so often for food, usually take out but when I go in person with other people the experience is almost always perfect. Getting the Crab Wontons, Spring Shrimp Rolls, and Crispy Garlic chicken is some of the many great foods I’d say they completely perfected. Service is great and actually pretty quick with food, Atmosphere is lively and it’s like you’re right at home here at BaiTong. Try it for its award winning food and a dining experience you’ll never forget!

There was a time that It was customary to provide utensils on delivery orders and still is. After all, how do you expect someone to eat noodles if they’re ordering from a place of work? According to the owner eating noodles with your hands is fine lol. I called the owner and nicely said there may have been a mistake on the order and if they could get us some utensils. The owner refused and became very rude and deflective. I still wanted to give them future service so I asked if they could at least give us a discount on a future order, didn’t have to be much but the owner became even more mad! Said because of a new WA law they aren’t required to give out utensils.. though there wasn’t a law requiring them to give out anything before, that’s just a simple dine out procedure - the owner is just being stingy plain and simple and is using something to justify their poor customer service. Literally told us “to eat with our hands…” lol what?! We ordered over $60 worth of food and they can’t even give out chopsticks or a 5% discount to amend their poor customer service… that’s $3 dollars. This place has no value. Look at previous reviews of people getting wrong orders, etc. and then the restaurant shifting the blame away from themselves. I myself love exploring restaurants and giving good reviews, just look at my review history. Unfortunately Bai Tong Thai doesn’t make the cut

It had been a little while since our last visit, but we won't make that mistake again. Our family has both gluten free and vegetarian members, and they are so kind, accommodating, and patient with our ordering. Sometimes when you order this way at Thai restaurants, the food is not as flavorful (due to lack of fish sauce, etc.). That is not the case at Bai tong. Our food was full of interesting flavors and each dish was unique. You should go! (One note: it was a packed house when we were there and I'm a little hard of hearing. It is a loud restaurant and it was a tad hard to hear my party. Still worth it for me!)
