- EPEric PalmerAug 23, 20261.0This store is in decline, the store staff are unhelpful and when I had an issue with the sale on an item, the lady was super irritated with a simple question regarding the sale and new system with digital coupons that I've never used. She slammed the Safeway add on the counter and said something under her breath. Just disrespectful. I chose not to buy the items before I understood the process so I went to customer service, and it was about the same response as the person in front of me had the same problem. Being they were unable or unwilling to articulateI a formal conversation, i just told them I didn't want the products then and left as I didn't want to make a huge problem of it. Its sad as I've shopped here for the last 10 years and it is now run down and staff is just kinda nasty to you. I will avoid at all costs.

Both associates and management should recognize that customer service is just as important as filling open positions. Hiring people with strong customer service skills and positive attitudes makes a big difference. Unfortunately, no one seems willing to go above and beyond to help customers, and it has made shopping here a frustrating experience. If nothing changes, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. The one exception is the team at the gas station. The ladies there are always friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable to talk with. I wish that same level of customer service was reflected inside the store. Let me know if you want specific names.
