  Such a fantastic surprise in an unassuming location. Delicious food with real flavour, great service, and staff who are excited to share what they make. Well worth it.

  Followed this amazing little bistro from its previous location to this new one in Poulsbo. Definitely still the amazing gem it was before the move! Delicious food and friendly service! Can't wait to return for dinner and drinks.

  This restaurant we stumbled upon created one of the most enjoyable experiences on our trip from NC to the PNW. Incredible burgers (the best actually). This is where you should go if you love food. But the experience didn’t stop with the flavor, the service and conversation with the ‘gastronauts’ was not only engaging but made us feel like we were locals and spending time with friends we’d known for years. Would recommend this place to anyone. Love love love

  Really glad this place opened in Poulsbo. It’s just two guys running the whole thing, and even on a busy night the food came out great. You can tell they actually care, and everything feels handmade and intentional. I got the Spiced New York Strip, my mom had the Hibiscus Seared Salmon, and we split the Strawberry Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake. The chef is a trained pastry chef and it shows. The Leek and Potato Bisque was really good too. Both the chef and his business partner came out and chatted with us for a bit, which was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back.

  I cannot rate Sauce Nouvelle Bistro highly enough for their sandwiches. For about $20 with tip, you will gain access to one of the best flavor experiences of your life. I highly recommend starting with one of their permanent menu items: either the peach spiced chicken or the corn relish corn beef sandwich. My orders have always come out within 10 minutes. The atmosphere is super inviting, and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
