They pour a “large” glass of wine and had a great selection. The halibut with hazelnut sauce, fresh spinach salad and buttermilk fried artichoke hearts were all excellent. We went on a busy Saturday night with a reservation and had a bit of wait for our food but entirely worth it. Go here when visiting Port Townsend!

I really liked Silverwater Cafe in Port Townsend, Washington. Its such a cute building and set up, the atmosphere was nice, relaxing and fun. The food was really good, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. I would eat here again if I am back in the area.
An upscale restaurant within a historic brick building in the historic center of Port Townsend, Silverwater Cafe can get a little warm inside on warm days, especially if you're sitting upstairs.
Food is nothing to write home about. The artichoke dip was a standout, but for example the salmon was dry, perched on plain white rice. The wine list is good but I'd say that much of the menu seems a bit lackluster.

Excellent halibut dinner cooked to perfection.
Went there for lunch when it first opened , and saw Paula's friendly smile , when I asked if they were open, and she said " Yes, come right in".
Then Gabe was also very friendly ,as was Paula as they helped my girlfriend pick out a nice wine.
Gabe was very attentive , and and welcoming as he served us.
So the food, the service, , the music, the complete atmosphere, and ambiance of this gem of a place, is a top notch must, when in Port Townsend.
It isn't a trip to Port Townsend without this wonderful and tasty dining experience.
