  You know it and love it, or your kids won't accept any substitutes, or you just landed and have to have this truly classic slice of Americana. Regardless, this spot will do you just fine. Cash, credit/debit card payments accepted. They would REALLY like it if you order in advance on their app, and may offer you a discount on your order for doing so. They have two drive-thru lanes and they appear to need them - it's a hoppin' spot. But service is friendly, efficient and speedy. Burgers and fries, baby, burgers and fries. Cow, chicken, fish. Choose what you want and dig in!

  Its a nice McDonald's compared to most other McDonalds that I've been through. Service is nice, had someone help me change my order from drive-thru to pickup at the front. Order was given decently fast on a somewhat busy hour. Food is great, like every other McDonald's. But they make their drinks a little better.

  We were visiting the area and stopped at the Oak Harbour location for breakfast. This may sound unusual for some but apparently McDonalds are better than others. The food was fresh and very tasty. The staff was wonderful. And it was very very clean.

  I had a frustrating experience at this location. I ordered a 6-piece nugget and a $5 meal deal with an extra large fry, and I specifically asked if I could wait for fresh fries. The employee at the window assured me they had just been made, but when I pulled away and tried them, they were cold and tasted old. I called back and spoke with a manager named Tracy, who told me to come back and she would replace the fries. I returned to the drive-through within a couple of minutes, and the same employee was at the window. I overheard her ask another employee if the fries were fresh, and the response I heard was, “yes they are fresh, stop asking about the damn fries.” When I received the replacement fries, they were still cold. At that point, I was annoyed and decided to leave. This experience was very disappointing, especially after being told the issue would be corrected. Between the lack of food quality and the unprofessional way staff spoke to each other, this visit did not meet basic expectations for customer service. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the food quality and employee conduct moving forward.
