- JHJason H1 day ago1.0Please check all reviews related to cleanliness and food safety. Their bakery cooler is dripping condensation into the product. When I showed 2 different employees they just said they would look into it, then they gave the product to a courtesy clerk and I followed to watch her return the adulterated product to the shelf. I am not a big fan of leaving 1 star reviews for a single incident, but looking at other reviews, food safety isn't a priority here.

At approximately 11:30 AM on July 8, 2026, I interacted with a person who identified himself as the General Manager of the Meat Department. His behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Instead of treating customers with courtesy and respect, he spoke in a dismissive and arrogant manner, making the entire experience very unpleasant. If someone represents themselves as a department manager, they should set a positive example through professionalism and respectful customer service. I hope Safeway management reviews this incident and ensures that customers are treated with the respect they deserve.
