  The ladies who work here are some of the most lovely people I get to see, but the guys are usually grumpy and anti-social. Andrew is the best of the lot, but watch out if you have to deal with any of the other men 😬 The bathroom is my biggest gripe. The men's always smells like urine, and feels like I've stepped into an early 2000's silent hill game. It's smelly, broken down, and often lacking supplies. -1 star for that sorry excuse for a bathroom

  After 6 pm the store is big yikes. Otherwise it’s Safeway. Slow slow.

  Safeway Monroe has the best cashier ever. Andrew makes checking out through self service the best. Always with a smile and goes beyond any other cashier to help customers.i shop when I know Andrew working. Employee of the year in my book.

  If I could rate it a zero I would. I literally never go out of my way to make reviews because honestly, I’m super busy and even when I think about doing it I get distracted for days and by the time I remember it’s not worth it to me anymore. I waited at the customer service desk for 15 minutes, 3 different employees walked up and grabbed something and walked away with out so much as making eye contact. Then I went to the cashier (he was super nice and just seemed like he wished he could help and was scared that maybe the situation was going to become an inconvenience which I totally understand because I work in customer service and my complaint, while valid, is a little bit petty) he tried to get someone on the radio to come over and help me as he said he couldn’t cash in a coin exchange receipt. They said the person was on break and that’s fine however, the desk wasn’t closed at all. I went back over there to wait as he said they were going to send someone. 3 more people came and stood in line and waited for the remainder of the 10 MORE minutes I was there and they gave up and left because nobody even acknowledged them. I then got tired of waiting and called the store because I have to work too (yes I could have come back another day but that’s really inconvenient and not the point) the bigger lady at the register answered the phone and had an insane amount of attitude with me and let me know she was right behind me and they were on break and that they were right there. She then rolled her eyes and hung up. In the entire span of time I was there there were about a dozen employees who clearly seen that me and a few others needed help and never even batted an eye. They were steady but definitely not busy and there was no reason for the attitude. I threw attitude back at that point because i felt really unwelcome and like i was an inconvenience to them and it’s just really not a good feeling. I was super nice about everything at first so all the attitude and u willingness to help was really unnecessary. If I treated my customers even half as poorly as I was treated I would be fired on the spot. If I was lucky I would get a write up. That was unacceptable
