  I had an extremely disappointing experience with curbside pickup, and I won't be shopping here again. I arrived first, checked in before I got there, and was the only customer waiting. A few minutes later, another customer pulled in, and their order was brought out before mine. When the employee came out with the other customer's groceries, I got out of my vehicle assuming they were mine since I had been waiting a while and had already checked in. Instead of simply explaining the situation, Jai responded with, “This isn’t for you” in a rude and dismissive tone. When she was headed back inside, I asked why checking in early seemed to make no difference if orders were not being handled based on arrival time and she told me a manager was inside. The employee Jai continued to be rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. After waiting another several minutes for my order, she came out and complained to me about my dogs in the car because she has allergies (we were returning from the vet on a Saturday afternoon). I ended up canceling the entire order because she was so unprofessional and her attitude was so poor. After leaving, I called the store to report my experience. I was told that no manager was available and that my concerns would be passed along. Despite that, I never received a call back or any follow-up. That lack of accountability was just as disappointing as the original experience.

  I love the staff at the store. I’ve been coming here for the last four years maybe even closer to six since I moved to Washington is my absolute favorite but all the women encouraged me when I needed the most uplift me on days I fell down and today I wanted to take some time to actually write a review because I was so moved by a wonderful job at the bakery . I called Gia at the Safeway Bakery about a week before my niece’s graduation party and described the cupcake theme I had in mind. I later rushed over with some graduation accessories, including miniature diplomas and graduation caps, and Gia was incredibly kind and eager to help. She quickly pulled up inspiration photos, listened to my ideas, and when I told her I trusted her creativity and discretion, she absolutely exceeded my expectations. The cupcakes turned out beautiful! The design was elegant, festive, and perfectly captured the graduation theme. What impressed me most was that she didn’t even need to use all of the accessories I brought because her decorating work was already so well done. The final result was beyond what I imagined, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Gia’s talent, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the occasion extra special. I highly recommend Gia at the Safeway Bakery for anyone looking for beautiful custom cupcakes or cakes. Thank you for helping make my niece’s graduation celebration so memorable!
