  The staff is nice and helpful. The store is laid out nice. The cinnamon rolls used to have more frosting and be 5.00. Now they are 7.99 and have maybe 2 measuring teaspoons.

  The staff (that remains) is friendly, helpful, always a pleasure to converse with and they're doing their absolute best :) I went in for some produce and found multiple items limp or low-to-no stock. A quick survey of the produce section reveals multiple areas that seem to be empty or with poor presentation. I gave up and attempted to return my cart back though the automatic exit gate. Upon clearing the gate, the cart wheel locked up and I continued walking (absent-mindedly). My shin ran right into the back of the cart. After leaving this Safeway location and discovering that the other Safeway nearby seemed to be out of fresh asparagus (that wasn't in that weird packaging), I went over to Haggen and they somehow brainwashed me into being a Haggen shopper. :D

  The man at the self checkout on this night is the most unhinged unprofessional employee I've come across. Coming to ask me what I'm looking for when I knew what I was looking for and did not need or ask for help, I had already rang it up and had it in the bag which he proceeded to dig through as if I'm a thief. This is the second run in with him as I politely asked him to get away from me as we've had previous problems. He then proceeded to call me a liar and tell me he's going to call the cops as I rang up my potatoes wrong which had he come at me in a civil manner I would have corrected. He then proceeded to reprint my receipt which has my name on it which further worries me for how unhinged of an individual he is. He should be able to be an adult and if I politely ask for him to step away from me when I'm not doing anything he should ablige. The way I was treated when he started the situation in the first place is absolutely unacceptable. He should get some help for the way he has acted he has an issue. But to be treated this way and to kindly ask him to step away from me I would think we can be adults but obviously that's a lot to ask for. He had no business coming at me like that when I was looking up an item and had already found it but proceeds to assert himself by digging through my bags. Again had he come at me like an adult I would have corrected it but the $2 difference in price was fair for me to be treated like that when there are far worse things being done like shop lifting is so crazy to me to think I'm treated that way over potato's. I shop there everyday but will take my business elsewhere which probably doesn't mean much but I'll be sure to let everyone know. Your response sounds like a bunch of lips service as not once has someone attempted to reach out too me.....typical.....shop somewhere else this place is hostile towards customers. All the 1 star reviews are about there employees and nothing is being done.
